about

The glory is a track that is full of positivity. The song acts as an anthem for the hustlers and the dream chasers.

The Glory is an anthem that echoes for any dream chaser. The song talks about the overcoming of the struggles you go through while following your dreams. The song has Californian punk vibes with massive singalongs that will make you feel empowered to go for whatever your goal in life is and go for it hard.

The song is the third part of a three part story that walks the listener through the life of someone who follows his/her dreams. Roses And Maps, being the first release and chapter, explains how one can fall in love with a craft and how this passion changes life forever. The second chapter, which is portrayed in Vicious Weather, explains how this passion helps you get through the rough times. Last but not least, The Glory is the third song. The tune finishes the trilogy off by showing the glorious feeling that you get when holding on to your passion during rough patches in order to get through them.

lyrics

Sometimes you feel like you have fallen
Broken bones in the gutter
Working hard for someone else cause
Just because the rent is due another month

The second that we punch the card and we are off
We start the hustle and give it all for what we love

Hey mate, let’s get movin’
We can taste the glory
Of the champagne that we will shake
At the end of the story

Sometimes you feel it is pointless
And you’re filled with disappointment
And then something deep inside of you
Makes you hustle and helps you stand tall

Some think we’re dumb because we don’t know when to stop
I say we’re brave because we never give up

Hey mate, let’s get movin’
We can taste the glory
Of the champagne that we will shake
At the end of the story
